“The Flight School Association of North America and Sallie Mae recently announced that they have formed a business partnership. The companies will work together to offer flight school scholarships to students of flight schools throughout the U.S. and Canada. A number of schools have been cited as possible locations for the scholarship. One concern for both companies is that flight schools be run on a solid business model. More information on the scholarships is scheduled to be released later this year. In order to be eligible for an aviation training scholarship an applicant must first pass a hearing and vision exam.”
